While our name and look have changed, our mission remains the same: to provide a warm, welcoming place to stay where every visit gives back to the community.
Over time, the YWCA Hotel has grown into a modern, community-minded place to stay, but the name and ties to YWCA often led to misconceptions. Some thought we were only for women or a short-term hostel.
Becoming Hotel Willo helps us reach more travellers, build stronger recognition, and share what makes us unique.
We’re still a social enterprise hotel proudly owned and operated by YWCA BC, and every stay continues to help fund YWCA programs and services that strengthen our communities.
No, we are still located at 733 Beatty Street, Vancouver.
You’ll still find us across from BC Place and just steps from Rogers Arena, Queen Elizabeth Theatre, and some of the city’s best restaurants and entertainment venues.
Yes! All existing bookings made under the YWCA Hotel name will be honoured as scheduled, with no changes to your dates, room type, or rate. You may start to see our new name, Hotel Willo, on signage, emails, and on-site materials, but the hotel, location, and team you know remain the same.
