Our History
Owned and operated by YWCA BC, Hotel Willo is rooted in more than a century of community care.
YWCA BC first opened its doors in 1897, offering housing and support to women arriving in Vancouver for education or employment — a commitment to safety and accessibility that continues today.
In 1995, the hotel relocated to its current home at 733 Beatty Street. Formerly known as the YWCA Hotel, it remains a community-driven social enterprise in downtown Vancouver.
