Smoking Policy
Please note that Hotel Wilo is a non-smoking hotel. We kindly request that you and your guests comply with this policy and smoke outside the hotel. City regulations require that you stay at least 6 meters away from doors and air intake vents.

Room Keycards
Please take your keycards with you when leaving the premise. Room doors lock automatically upon closing. Keycard drop-offs are available at the Front Desk and in the Parking Lot.
Housekeeping
Daily service is provided, along with an environmental linen exchange program. Request fresh towels as needed, and let us know of special requests or preferences. Linens are exchanged after the third day; resident cleaning is once a week; notify Housekeeping if you refuse service. Housekeeper enters rooms at least twice a week.
Parking
Very limited underground parking is available for our guests. A daily fee applies for parking. Registered guests may park their vehicles on the parking level until noon on the day of check-out.
Bike Storage
Bikes can be stored on the parking level at no cost. Please note that they cannot be kept in guest rooms. Please contact the Front Desk Staff for bike storage keys.
Baggage Storage
Day storage is available in the baggage storage room provided in the lobby. Please see the Front Desk staff for tags. Items may be stored for the day in this room. There is no charge for this service.
Longer-Term Storage
If you are returning to Hotel Willo at a later date and wish to leave your baggage, items may be stored for a daily charge. Please note that bags are left in the storage areas at the guest's own risk.
Outgoing mail can be left at Front Desk if stamped. Incoming mail will be held at Front Desk for pick up.
Scale
A small scale is available at the Front Desk to check your luggage for airline weight restrictions.
Recycling
Blue containers for recycling located at elevator areas, Guest Kitchens and TV Lounge on the 10th floor. Brown containers for organic waste in Guest rooms and Kitchens.
Room Temperature
Thermostat monitored automatically. Set to desired temperature and leave in auto position.

Vending & Ice Machines
Coin-operated vending machines for drinks and snacks in the Nook located in the Lobby (next to the Front Desk). Complimentary ice available from ice machine on the 7th floor.
Laundry Facilities
Three coin-operated laundry rooms are located on the 3rd, 6th, and 9th floors, and can be used between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Laundry soap and dryer sheets can be purchased from vending machines.
Kitchens
Shared kitchens equipped with major appliances are located on the 4th, 7th, and 10th floors. Smaller kitchenettes are available on the 2nd and 12th floors. Please ensure that the kitchen/kitchenette doors are kept closed. Cutlery, dishes, and cookware are available at the Front Desk. Kitchens are closed from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM each night, while kitchenettes are open 24/7.
11th Floor Patio
The 11th floor patio is available to guests from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM, providing a comfortable seating area with a view of the surrounding area. No alcohol or smoking is permitted on the patio.
Fitness Zone/ Workout Room
A small workout room is located on the 4th floor, equipped with weights, cardio machines, mats, and a yoga ball.
YWCA Fitness Centre
Access to the YWCA Fitness Centre, located 10 blocks away at 535 Hornby Street, is free for hotel guests* (nominal fee for hotel residents). The Centre offers a 25-meter ozone pool, whirlpool, steam room, weight room, cardio room, and fitness and aquatic classes. Please contact the Front Desk for a day pass and remember to bring identification.
*Please note: the Fitness Centre is for guests 15 years and older, but children aged 8-15 can use the pool during Family Swim on Saturdays and Sundays. Dial 4 for Family Swim times.

Meeting rooms and a boardroom are available for rent on the lobby level and the 7th floor. For further information, please contact the Front Desk.
As a nonsmoking hotel, we kindly ask that guests and visitors respect our policy and smoke outside the hotel.

Elevator Access
Guests will receive a keycard for room and elevator access. The keycard is required to reach your guest floor in the building.
Late Night Entry
For the safety and security of our guests, Hotel Willo locks its doors every night at 9:00pm. If you need to access the building after this time, please tap your keycard for entry. For assistance, use the intercom button located at the front door to speak with a guest services representative.
Hall Bathrooms
If your room does not have a private bathroom, your keycard includes access to the hall bathrooms located on the 2nd to 11th floors. All hall baths have showers, and tubs can be found on the 5th, 8th, and 11th floors. To ensure your privacy, please engage the deadbolt upon entering the hall bath. If the bathroom on your floor is occupied, you can access hall bathrooms on other floors.
Semi-Private Bathrooms
If you are staying in a room with a semi-private bathroom, please ensure to lock the deadbolt on the bathroom door when not in use to prevent entry from the other room. To use the bathroom, close both doors and press the red ‘for privacy’ button. You will hear a click, and both doors will be locked. The doors will automatically unlock upon your return to your room. An emergency response button is available in the bathroom for use in emergencies. Pushing this button will alert the Front Desk that you may need assistance.
To comply with fire regulations, all rooms at Hotel Willo are fitted with ceiling sprinkler systems that will activate in the event of a fire. Please do not touch or hang anything from these sprinklers as they can trigger the system and cause extensive water damage. You will be held financially responsible for any damage that occurs due to tampering with this system.

If you discover a fire, follow these steps:
- Immediately sound the fire alarm
- If possible, attempt to extinguish the fire or keep it under control using available fire equipment like fire extinguishers, but only if it's safe to do so
- Dial 9 + 911 to notify the Fire Department but only if you can do so without endangering yourself
- If you can't control the fire, isolate it by closing doors, and evacuate using the nearest exit
When the fire alarm goes off, follow these steps:
- Stay calm and avoid panic
- Walk, do not run, and shut all doors behind you as you evacuate.
- Use the fire exit stairwell and avoid using the elevators
- After exiting the building, move away from the doorway to allow others behind you to evacuate safely
- Gather across the street at the Terry Fox Memorial on Robson and Beatty, and leave clear access for Fire Department trucks and personnel
Never go back into the building for any reason
If you report a fire to the Fire Department:
- Provide your name and the hotel address (733 Beatty Street) and our nearest intersection (Georgia and Beatty)
- Give details about the fire, including its location, size, and spread, and whether people are trapped
- Meet the Fire Department at the entrance to the building to provide updated information and assist as a resource person if required

The garden is designed to reflect the balance between masculine and feminine energies within nature, and is one of the top Japanese gardens outside of Japan. Kitsilano Beach, or Kits Beach

English Bay is connected to Second and Third Beach through the Stanley Park Seawall.

Spanish Banks

During low tide, the water recedes to approximately one kilometer from the shore. Visitors are welcome to bring their own barbeques and enjoy the complimentary parking facilities. Richmond

Burnaby

- Getting there: Taking the Expo Line gets you to Surrey directly.
Grouse Mountain
- Ride the Seabus from Waterfront Station, located adjacent to Canada Place, to the Lonsdale Quay and connect with Bus #236 directly to Grouse Mountain.
- To return to downtown Vancouver, take Bus #236 from Grouse Mountain to the Lonsdale Quay and ride the Seabus to Waterfront Station.
Cypress Mountain
- Ride the Seabus from Waterfront Station, located adjacent to Canada Place, to the Lonsdale Quay.
- Catch the Cypress Mountain Express Bus at the Lonsdale Quay Seabus Terminal and at Park Royal Mall.
Seymour Mountain
- Take the Expo skytrain to the Rupert Skytrain Station (need to swtich from Expo line to the Millenium Line and connect with the Mt Seymour Shuttle Bus.
Whistler
One of the easiest ways to get to Whistler is via shuttle. Multiple daily services run from downtown Vancouver and once in Whistler, buses will usually make stops at both Whistler Creekside and at the central Gateway Loop in Whistler Village so make sure you know which stop you need.
By Car:
- Start on Georgia Street and head west towards Stanley Park.
- Take the Stanley Park Causeway and follow the signs for Highway 1 (Trans-Canada Highway) heading towards West Vancouver.
- Continue on Highway 1 until you reach the Lions Gate Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the signs for Highway 99, also known as the Sea-to-Sky Highway.
- Stay on Highway 99 for approximately 121 kilometers (75 miles) until you reach Whistler.
By Shuttle Bus:
- Several shuttle bus services operate between Vancouver and Whistler. You can check with companies like Epic Rides (Downtown Vancouver), Whistler Shuttle (from YVR airport), or YVR Skylynx (from YVR airport) for schedules and fares. Buses typically depart from designated locations and drop you off at various locations in Whistler.
By Train and Bus:
- Take the Expo SkyTrain from downtown Vancouver to the Main Street station to get to Pacific Central Station.
- From Pacific Central Station, board the Rocky Mountaineer train to Whistler. This scenic train ride offers breathtaking views along the way.
- Upon arrival at the Whistler Train Station, you can catch a local bus or take a short taxi ride to your desired destination in Whistler.
Victoria
By Car:
- Head south on Granville Street or Burrard Street
- Continue south on Highway 99, also known as the South Fraser Perimeter Road or Highway 17. Follow signs for the BC Ferries Terminal/Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal.
- Take the BC Ferries vessel from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay, and you can bring your car on board (approximately 1.5 to 2 hours).
- Upon arrival at Swartz Bay, follow the signs for Highway 17 (Patricia Bay Highway) and continue south towards Victoria.
- Stay on Highway 17, which takes you into downtown Victoria.
By Public Transit:
- Take the Canada Line (southbound) at Vancouver City Centre Canada Line station towards Richmond to Bridgeport Station. At Bridgeport Station, transfer to the #620 Tsawassen bus.
- Join the ferry as a foot passenger. One-way to Schwartz Bay (on Vancouver Island). The ferry ride takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
- At Swartz Bay (Victoria) Take the #70 Pat Bay Bus into Victoria.This bus leaves the ferry terminal at five minutes before every hour, and takes about one hour to reach Victoria.
- Otherwise, you may catch the Coach Lines bus directly on the ferry by purchasing a ticket during the first half hour of the ferry ride.

By SkyTrain:

- Take the Canada Line towards Richmond-Brighouse or YVR-Airport Station.
- Get off at YVR-Airport Station, which is located directly at the airport terminal.
By Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service:
